Why small groups?

Maths at Splice runs in small groups, typically 3 to 5 students. That's small enough for the tutor to see where each student is stuck and work through it with them, while students still learn from each other's questions.

Sessions can be booked as a recurring weekly slot or as one-off lessons before a big assessment, whichever suits the student.

Online, from anywhere.

All maths sessions run online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, every day between 9am and 9pm. Students across Sydney and the rest of Australia can join without travelling.

Studying Biology as well? That can be online too, or in person at our location in Yagoona. See HSC Biology tutoring.

What sessions
focus on.

Each session is shaped around where the student is up to at school.

Understanding the content

Concepts explained step by step until they make sense, then practised until they stick.

Exam preparation

HSC-style questions and exam technique, so students know how marks are actually awarded.

School assessments

Support with upcoming tests and assessment tasks, including one-off sessions before a big one.

Taught by people who
did it well.

Our head maths tutors scored ATARs of 99.40 and 98.55, so the advice comes from people who know what high marks take.
